In November of 2013, LHAS approved a $15,000 grant to create the LHAS Relaxation Room.  The LHAS Relaxation Room will be located in the 4D Cardiology Unit at UPMC Presbyterian.  The space will have a domestic appearance and atmosphere so that patients and their families have a place to relax that is removed from the hospital environment.  This lounge space will incorporate an inviting color scheme along with comfortable furniture and soothing music.
